Project Highlights
Life After High School Launch – 2023
Before: Many high school seniors felt uncertain about their next steps after graduation, unsure how to navigate college, careers, or adulthood.
After: Through our Life After High School initiative, students now engage in guided modules that help them explore career paths, build communication skills, and create personal roadmaps for success. With our Earn While You Learn incentive, students receive stipends for completing modules—turning learning into both an educational and financial opportunity.
Impact: 150+ students empowered to plan their futures with confidence.
Youth Empowerment Bootcamp
Before: Students struggled with self-esteem, motivation, and goal-setting, often feeling disconnected from their potential.
After: NuWave’s Youth Empowerment Bootcamp provided mentorship, leadership training, and personal development sessions. Students learned how to identify strengths, set goals, and communicate effectively.
Impact: 95% of participants reported increased confidence, improved communication skills, and greater readiness for life after school.
Saving Grace Renovation Partnership
Before:
A once-vacant building sat unused in the community—an untapped space with potential to serve youth and families.
After: In collaboration with Saving Grace Community Development Corporation and Youth Build, NuWave helped transform the facility into a vibrant community center offering workshops, training, and mentorship programs.
Impact: Now serving over 200 youth annually with programs that promote education, leadership, and workforce readiness.
Community Collaboration Project
Before: Many local schools and community programs lacked structured mentorship or life-skills development support.
After: NuWave partnered with educators, organizations, and volunteers to design programs that fill those gaps—focusing on emotional intelligence, self-awareness, and future planning.
Impact: A growing network of mentors and students building stronger, more resilient communities together.
