Improving My Skills
by Sophia;
After reflecting on my recent experiences, I realize that the areas I really need to focus on are self-awareness, self-confidence, personal growth, and self-motivation. Over the past year, I feel like I’ve been drifting away from who I truly am. My confidence has taken a hit, and I often find myself second-guessing even small decisions. I sometimes struggle to complete tasks that used to feel simple, and I know that rebuilding my sense of self and my inner strength is going to take conscious effort.
Self-Development
By Danielle;
Areas I need improvement on are personal empowerment, personal power, and personal objectives. I have issues with feeling content and have struggled reaching my goals.
I can improve my personal empowerment by speaking for myself. Speaking up for myself will allow me to feel better within myself. Holding things in has caused me to accumulate anger and resentment. I learned in psychology that I can use assertive anger to express myself in a way I can be heard and respectful at the same time. I need to work on putting it to the test when situations arise.
Another area I can improve on is personal power. I've been working for many years, and I've also been struggling financially for many years. One way I can work on improving my personal power is by being more financially disciplined. When you achieve financial freedom, you have the opportunity to do more and see more of your time; versus when you are financially unstable, you are victim to constant labor to make ends meet, with minimal time for self-enjoyment.
Lastly, another area I can improve on are my personal objectives. I can do better at looking ahead and making short term and long-term goals. Having goals guides you to deciding for your success. Without goals you don't have anything to drive you for improvement, achievement, or success. If I start holding myself accountable toward short- and long-term goals I can have a clear outline of my desired destination, within that, I can strategize how to achieve my aspirations.
Personal skills I need improvement on
by Jaden;
After I watched the video, I think some of the pillars I need to work on are my personal analysis, personal power, personal improvement, and personal empowerment. I’ve been honestly Lossing a lot of myself including myself confidence over the collage year. I’ve been doubting myself more and more i sometimes even struggle to do simple things sometimes.
The 7 Pillars of Personal Development Discussion
By Brian;
When briefly analyzing the seven pillars of personal development, I genuinely find myself currently excelling in some areas such as knowledge, where every day I’m growing academically by committing to completing assignments, and learning self-discipline as a whole by improving on my natural skills. I also tend to find myself maintaining a very productive habit through my workful environment in both academic and professional settings. However, at the same time I also acknowledge that I may be lacking in some respects such as balancing my time in workload with proper rest and well-being. Furthermore, I would also like to genuinely improve and strengthen my finances by creating long-term habits that could help me invest and save money for my personal future achievements. Ultimately, the seven pillars of personal development may genuinely help me find purpose by teaching me how to implement healthy styles into my daily routines.
Personal skills and self-improvement
By Dayana;
After reviewing the 7 pillars it was an eye-opening passage, I reflected on myself and how the past 2 years have gone for me. I truly believe I lost myself and tried to re gain myself this year but not in the best way that I thought but slowly i am learning myself again and still need more self-improvement as in trusting my gut and doing the things that make me happy and not just putting others happiness first before myself.
